Christmas intimate wedding in Venice | Hotel Danieli

Let me start the New Year off stylishly! Last day of the year – last wedding of the year on the blog today! Spring is not the only season fit for a wedding. Winter weddings also seem to be becoming increasingly popular too, especially in December. With Christmas being so near, there is always such a sense of excitement and happiness in the air in December! For those who want a traditional style, the cold season could prove an original choice, not only because of the stress free atmosphere that rules during the festive holidays, but especially for the desire of spending time with the loved ones.

Winter weddings can be even more magical thanks to the natural glimmer of snow but if you pick Venice as location, like Franziska and Lorenz did, then magic can be guaranteed even without snow. The colors and the happy Christmas atmosphere make everything more magical, especially the decor lights give an extraordinary and deeply romantic touch to the wedding!

This lovely couple came all the way from Germany to celebrate their intimate wedding on the island. The reason which prompted them to choose Venice for their civil ceremony was simple: their first date took place in Venice! They seriously light up when they are together, just wait until you see their contagious smiles ? We met them at our favorite hotel, the stunning Hotel Danieli. They wanted to take advantage of its amazing environment to have some impressive photos before heading to Palazzo Cavalli. Everything was short but very sweet, some romantic shots at the hall with Christmas decors, other few in the taxi on the Grand Canal. The time to say ‘’I do’’ and we were ready for the custom photos on the balcony of the town hall overlooking Rialto bridge.
